The WNBA Semifinals bring two Western Conference franchises into a best-of-five series: the Las Vegas Aces against the Golden State Valkyries, with Game 1 at Chase Center in San Francisco. A Las Vegas franchise whose title runs earlier in the decade defined an era of the league meets a Bay Area expansion side that drew one of the loudest new fanbases in basketball from its 2025 debut.

The semifinal round is where the bracket narrows to four, and a best-of-five format rewards composure over one hot night. Home court matters in concept, with the series swinging between the Bay and the desert. Two very different franchise stories meet here: a Las Vegas club with a deep postseason history, and a San Francisco newcomer whose arena filled from the start. The playoff stage, with weekend afternoon tip-offs and late weeknight windows, has become a centerpiece of the league’s cultural rise. Three wins send a team to the WNBA Finals.

The Covered “Miami Vice” Patio & The Yard

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

Pair it with shareable dishes from the full menu or post up at the bar with a flight of hyper-local beer. There’s no other drink experience like it in Miami.

Rails Sports Bar was the highlight of our whole trip to Miami. Great atmosphere, plenty of screens, and the kind of energy you want from a sports bar. He was incredibly attentive super kind, personable, and so easy to talk to. He checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and just had such a great energy throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to have a server who makes you feel like they actually care that you’re having a good time, and Austin absolutely did. He made us feel so welcome and turned an already fun outing into an even better one. Truly 12/10 service. I’ll absolutely be back — especially to watch sports — and will definitely be asking for Austin again!
