A continental semifinal comes with its own math: two legs, one aggregate score, and a place in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana final for whoever survives it. Atlético-MG and Montevideo City Torque settle their share of that equation on Wednesday, October 14, and the match is on across the room at Grails Miami in Wynwood.

Atlético Mineiro come out of Belo Horizonte, a club whose identity was forged on packed terraces, a famously loud home support and decades of Brazilian league and continental campaigns. Montevideo City Torque represent a newer strand of Uruguayan football, a capital-city side that climbed through the domestic ranks in a country that has always produced far more football than its size suggests. Brazilian clubs against Uruguayan clubs is one of the oldest textures in South American competition, and a knockout tie sharpens every tackle, every away goal, every minute of stoppage.

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

He was incredibly attentive super kind, personable, and so easy to talk to. He checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and just had such a great energy throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to have a server who makes you feel like they actually care that you’re having a good time, and Austin absolutely did. He made us feel so welcome and turned an already fun outing into an even better one. Truly 12/10 service.
