Miami’s Honduran community never needs much of a reason to pack a room, and a Catracho night in Wynwood is one of the better ones. Honduras hosts Jamaica on Monday, October 5, in Concacaf Nations League group play, and Grails Miami has the match on with full sound on the main feed.

Concacaf nights in Tegucigalpa carry their own reputation. Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés sits in a valley ringed by hills, and the noise there has long made visitors uneasy, part of why Honduras built so much of its identity around home dates in regional competition. Jamaica brings the Caribbean’s most recognizable program, a side whose history is tied to direct, fast football and traveling support that makes itself heard. Group play decides who moves on and who defends their tier, so nothing here is a throwaway ninety minutes.

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

We had such a great experience, and a huge part of that was our server, Austin! He was genuinely one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. He was incredibly attentive super kind, personable, and so easy to talk to. He checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and just had such a great energy throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to have a server who makes you feel like they actually care that you’re having a good time, and Austin absolutely did. He made us feel so welcome and turned an already fun outing into an even better one. Truly 12/10 service. I’ll absolutely be back — especially to watch sports — and will definitely be asking for Austin again!
