Knicks at 76ers is a ninety-mile trip up the turnpike and one of the oldest arguments in the Eastern Conference, and Grails Miami has it on the screens in Wynwood. New York and Philadelphia share a division, a corridor, and a long history of transplants who landed in South Florida and never gave up the team they grew up on. Friday night in Wynwood, basketball in every direction, and a room that splits down the middle the second the ball goes up.

Philadelphia hosts at Xfinity Mobile Arena, a building with a long-standing reputation for getting loud early and staying that way into the fourth quarter. The Atlantic Division has historically been the most crowded neighborhood in the East, and meetings between these two markets carry seeding weight from the opening weeks of the calendar. This one also falls inside NBA Cup group play, which folds an extra layer of standings math into a regular Friday night slot. Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

Rails Sports Bar was the highlight of our whole trip to Miami. Great atmosphere, plenty of screens, and the kind of energy you want from a sports bar. He was incredibly attentive super kind, personable, and so easy to talk to. He checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and just had such a great energy throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to have a server who makes you feel like they actually care that you’re having a good time, and Austin absolutely did. He made us feel so welcome and turned an already fun outing into an even better one. Truly 12/10 service. I’ll absolutely be back — especially to watch sports — and will definitely be asking for Austin again!
