New York at Cleveland is an Eastern Conference road night with a long paper trail, and Grails Miami has it up on the screens in Wynwood. Rocket Arena in downtown Cleveland has hosted some of the loudest playoff crowds of the last decade, and the Knicks travel with one of the most portable fanbases in the league. Miami has plenty of both, and Saturday night in Wynwood is where those two crowds end up in the same room.

Structurally this is an Atlantic Division club visiting a Central Division club, so conference seeding and tiebreakers are already in play even in early November. Cleveland spent the middle of the 2010s at the center of the Eastern bracket, and New York has carried Madison Square Garden expectations for far longer than that. Two markets that treat basketball as civic business, one road building, four quarters that usually get decided by which side holds the ball better after the third-quarter break.

The Covered “Miami Vice” Patio & The Yard

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

He was incredibly attentive super kind, personable, and so easy to talk to. He checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and just had such a great energy throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to have a server who makes you feel like they actually care that you’re having a good time, and Austin absolutely did. He made us feel so welcome and turned an already fun outing into an even better one. Truly 12/10 service.
