Kansas City comes to Miami for a two-game weekend set at loanDepot park, and Grails Miami runs the full series on the big screens. An American League Central club visiting a National League East ballpark in late August, Saturday and Sunday back to back, roughly 12 minutes north of the stadium in Wynwood with the covered patio holding the overflow both days.

Interleague weekends carry their own flavor. The Royals built a franchise identity around Kauffman Stadium, the fountains beyond the outfield wall, wide alleys, and a championship history that reached back to 1985 and returned in 2015. The Marlins answer from a downtown ballpark that opened in 2012, a retractable roof built for South Florida summers, and two World Series banners of their own from 1997 and 2003. Late August is when the divisional picture in both leagues starts to harden, which gives a short two-game set more weight than the calendar suggests. Two markets, two leagues, one weekend.

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.
