The Florida Panthers head west to Denver, and Grails Miami is the South Florida room for it. Sunrise sits about 45 minutes from Wynwood, and the hockey crowd that grew with the franchise’s Cup runs of the mid-2020s has a place to gather for road nights too. Puck drop is 7:00 PM ET on a Saturday, prime time on the patio.

An interconference game: Florida from the Atlantic Division in the East, Colorado from the Central Division in the West. Opposite-conference teams meet only twice a year, once in each building, so this is Florida’s lone trip to Ball Arena. Denver plays at a mile of elevation, and visitors have long felt the thin air late in games. Two franchises with Cup banners, one Saturday night.

The Covered “Miami Vice” Patio & The Yard

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

The Famous “Sneaker Cocktail”

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

Pair it with shareable dishes from the full menu or post up at the bar with a flight of hyper-local beer. There’s no other drink experience like it in Miami.

Rails Sports Bar was the highlight of our whole trip to Miami. Great atmosphere, plenty of screens, and the kind of energy you want from a sports bar. We had such a great experience, and a huge part of that was our server, Austin! He was genuinely one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time. He was incredibly attentive super kind, personable, and so easy to talk to. He checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and just had such a great energy throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to have a server who makes you feel like they actually care that you’re having a good time, and Austin absolutely did. He made us feel so welcome and turned an already fun outing into an even better one. Truly 12/10 service. I’ll absolutely be back — especially to watch sports — and will definitely be asking for Austin again!
