What makes Grails different

Sneaker-themed bar interior at Grails Miami with rare sneakers on display

The World’s First Sneaker-Themed Restaurant & Bar

Hand-restored, well-known sneaker grails line our walls, collected from collaborations and drops throughout the last two decades. Our indoor lounge feels less like a sports bar and more like a sneakerhead’s dream living room, with red booths, ambient lighting, and a custom sneaker bar centerpiece.

Whether you’re a hypebeast, a casual collector, or just here for the wings, the indoor lounge is a vibe, and unlike any other sports bar in Miami.

The Covered “Miami Vice” Patio & The Yard

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

The Famous “Sneaker Cocktail”

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

Pair it with shareable dishes from the full menu or post up at the bar with a flight of hyper-local beer. There’s no other drink experience like it in Miami.

Not Your “Typical” Sports Bar

Award-winning craft cocktails. Hand-crafted shareable dishes. A bartender who actually remembers your name. Hyper-local beer on tap. 75+ TVs, two full bars, and three distinct seating areas, including a Wynwood-art-district patio. Group tables for 4 to 40+. Hookah on the patio. DJ-curated music.

This isn’t beer-and-wings-on-a-flat-screen. This is the Grails Experience. It’s why we’re consistently rated Miami’s #1 sports bar.

The Best Kentucky Derby Bar in Miami: Grails Miami

The Kentucky Derby is the one Saturday a year when people who never watch horse racing stop to watch a horse race. Up to twenty three-year-olds break from the gate at Churchill Downs in Louisville, run a mile and a quarter on dirt, and about two minutes later the winner is draped in the garland of roses. It is the first leg of the Triple Crown, it has been run every year since 1875, and the 153rd running is Saturday, May 1, 2027. Where to watch the Kentucky Derby in Miami is an easy call once you have seen the room at post time: Grails Miami, in the middle of Wynwood, with the race on every screen and Derby hats welcome.

The Derby is only the start of the season. The Preakness Stakes follows two weeks later, the Belmont Stakes completes the Triple Crown in June, the Breeders’ Cup runs every fall, and the Pegasus World Cup comes to Gulfstream Park in January. See every race on the horse racing schedule, and when your second sport is on, you will find it here too.

The Road to the Kentucky Derby Runs Through South Florida

The Florida Derby

Gulfstream Park’s spring feature, about 30 minutes north of Wynwood, is one of the main prep races on the Road to the Kentucky Derby. The winner earns 100 points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby leaderboard, the top prize on the qualifying trail.

A proven path to the roses

Runners out of the Florida Derby have gone on to win the Kentucky Derby more often than those from any other prep. Barbaro, Big Brown, Nyquist, and Always Dreaming all won in Hallandale Beach before winning at Churchill Downs.

Watch it finish in Wynwood

Follow the South Florida horses from the Florida Derby to the first Saturday in May, then watch the Kentucky Derby at Grails with sound on for the call. The Preakness and the Belmont follow on the same screens.
