2800 N Miami Ave
On the corner of 28th Street, two blocks from Wynwood Walls

Edgewater is towers, the bay, Margaret Pace Park and a very good run of restaurants. What it does not really have is a sports bar, which is why the sports bar near Edgewater most people end up at sits a mile west of them. From the Paraiso District, from the buildings along NE 2nd Avenue, or from anywhere on Biscayne Boulevard between 17th and 36th, you cross Biscayne, keep going a few blocks west, and you are at N Miami Avenue and 28th Street.

On foot it is roughly fifteen minutes from the Biscayne Boulevard side of the neighborhood and closer to twenty-five from the bayfront towers. By car or rideshare it is about five minutes, less at off-peak hours. If you drive, there is street parking around 28th Street and paid lots throughout Wynwood. Coming from the north end of Edgewater, the Design District and Midtown are on the way; from the south end, the Adrienne Arsht Center and the Omni area are a couple of minutes behind you.

That location is the whole point of this page. Edgewater residents searching for a sports bar near Edgewater are usually looking at a three to six minute trip, not a night out across the causeway, and the room they land in is the one Miami New Times has named Best Sports Bar in Miami three times.

Every Game on the Schedule, Five Minutes From Edgewater

Soccer, NFL, UFC and everything after that. The sports bar near Edgewater carries all of it on 75+ TVs, with sound on for the marquee broadcasts and the giant projector in The Yard saved for the major game of the night.

What makes Grails different

Sneaker-themed bar interior at Grails Miami with rare sneakers on display

The World’s First Sneaker-Themed Restaurant & Bar

Hand-restored, well-known sneaker grails line our walls, collected from collaborations and drops throughout the last two decades. Our indoor lounge feels less like a sports bar and more like a sneakerhead’s dream living room, with red booths, ambient lighting, and a custom sneaker bar centerpiece.

Whether you’re a hypebeast, a casual collector, or just here for the wings, the indoor lounge is a vibe, and unlike any other sports bar in Miami.

The Covered “Miami Vice” Patio & The Yard

Spacious. Vibrant. Pure Miami. The covered Miami Vice patio seats up to 120 across multiple table configurations and has its own patio bar, with TVs angled for visibility from every seat. The Yard sits adjacent under a giant tent with a projector screen for the major game. Hookah service runs all evening on the patio.

The color palette pulls straight from Miami Vice: pinks, teals, neon accents. The patio walls flow with rotating mural work that fits Wynwood’s art-district vibe.

The Famous “Sneaker Cocktail”

Yes, you really do drink it from a Jordan-inspired sneaker. The Grails sneaker cocktail is our most-photographed creation, equal parts conversation piece and craft cocktail. It’s been featured in local press, racked up millions of Instagram impressions, and is now a Wynwood rite of passage.

Pair it with shareable dishes from the full menu or post up at the bar with a flight of hyper-local beer. There’s no other drink experience like it in Miami.

Not Your “Typical” Sports Bar

Award-winning craft cocktails. Hand-crafted shareable dishes. A bartender who actually remembers your name. Hyper-local beer on tap. 75+ TVs, two full bars, and three distinct seating areas, including a Wynwood-art-district patio. Group tables for 4 to 40+. Hookah on the patio. DJ-curated music.

This isn’t beer-and-wings-on-a-flat-screen. This is the Grails Experience. It’s why we’re consistently rated Miami’s #1 sports bar.

GRAILS MIAMI - Restaurant & Sports Bar

Trusted by Miami

Miami New Times Best of Miami: Best Sports Bar 2020, 2022, and 2025 Thrillist on Grails Miami: 'The creative cocktail menu surpasses anything you'd expect from a sports bar.' The Infatuation on Grails Miami: 'A solid place to cheer on your team — lots of outdoor seating and TVs everywhere.'

Grails in Wynwood absolutely nails the sports bar experience, but with a personality all its own. The sneaker-themed concept is everywhere, from the sneaker shot glasses to the oversized cocktail souvenirs. It’s fun without feeling gimmicky, and the food holds up just as well. The smash burger is excellent, the wings are crispy and perfectly seasoned, and there’s nothing wrong with washing it all down with an ice-cold beer. If you’re there for weekend brunch, things get even more interesting. Grab a mimosa or sangria and, if you’re feeling ambitious, take on the 17-inch monster breakfast burrito “Bases Loaded Burrito”. Finish it in 20 minutes and your picture lands in their virtual Hall of Fame. I was smart enough not to try. For sports, this place is hard to beat. TVs are everywhere, and there’s a huge outdoor watch-party setup. Big shoutout to Nacho behind the bar, Paul, the mastermind in the kitchen, and Roger for keeping the games covered. If it’s game time and you’re in Wynwood, Grails is the place.

Came here to watch the France versus Spain game during the World Cup. Overall, the place is great. I ordered one round of drinks and a couple of appetizers. Specifically, we ordered the cheese sticks, steak tacos and chicken wings. The cheese sticks and the steak tacos were delicious. The chicken wings were not my favorite. We had two different flavors. Garlic Parmesan and lemon pepper. The best flavor with lemon pepper. The cheese sticks sauce was a guava sauce that was very delicious.

We were there yesterday for the World Cup third-place match and were thrilled; they did everything to make every guest feel comfortable. It was really fun to watch the game there, and there was entertainment for the guests during the breaks. The food was good, and the service was excellent. We would definitely recommend it for such an occasion.

The Best Place to Watch the Game Near Edgewater Miami: Grails Miami

Edgewater grew up fast. Twenty years ago it was low-rise and quiet; today it’s a wall of towers along Biscayne Bay between 17th and 36th Street, with something close to seventeen thousand people living in it. What the neighborhood still doesn’t have is a room built around the schedule, which is why the search for a sports bar near Edgewater keeps pointing across Biscayne Boulevard. Grails Miami is a mile west at 2800 N Miami Ave, on the corner of 28th Street in the middle of Wynwood, and it has been the answer since 2019.

What that mile buys you: 75+ TVs, two full bars, and three rooms. The indoor sneaker lounge is the biggest bar in the building. The Miami Vice patio is covered, with its own bar. The Yard is under a giant tent with a projector screen that gets the major game of the night. Sound is on for the marquee broadcasts, there’s never a cover charge, kids are welcome any hour we’re open, and the kitchen runs all game long. Doors open at 3 PM Monday through Thursday, noon on Friday, and 11 AM on Saturday and Sunday, so a Saturday soccer morning and a Sunday full of football both work without planning around us. That is the practical difference between a sports bar near Edgewater and a restaurant that happens to have a television on.

It also isn’t only an Edgewater page. The same mile puts Grails Miami a few minutes from Midtown, the Design District, the Omni and Arts District, and downtown Miami, and about ten from Brickell. Whatever is on, from a World Cup group stage match to a Thursday night NFL game to a championship fight, the sports bar near Edgewater with the room for it is the same one. Check the calendar, reserve a table, or just walk in.
